Mini birth course
Everything for your beautiful pregnancy and birth.
Filled with love, for yourself, your partner, and your baby.
ARE YOU LIVING IN THE EINDHOVEN AREA?
ARE YOU PREGNANT?
ARE YOU UNSURE WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN GIVING BIRTH IN THE NETHERLANDS?
ARE YOU WONDERING IF YOU HAVE ANY SAY IN YOUR BIRTH JOURNEY?
ARE YOU AFRAID YOU ARE PREPARED INSUFFICIENTLY TO EXPERIENCE YOUR OWN BIRTH HAPPINESS?
ARE LOST WHEN IT COMES TO MAKING YOUR BIRTHPLAN?
ARE YOU EAGER TO FOLLOW YOUR OWN PATH TO A LOVING AND BEAUTIFUL BIRTH?
When it comes to preparing for your birth there is much to know, especially when you or your partner are from abroad. That is why I offer a unique mini birth prep course where in 3,5 hours I prepare you and your (birth) partner for the beautiful birth of your baby. And afterwards you will be confident and relaxed when your baby will be born.
5 things I wish I knew while I was pregnant:
- How a good breathing technique can help to stay calm and relaxed
- How important the role of hormones are during birth
- That I could give birth in a special designed birthing pool
- That there are choices/options during pregnancy & childbirth
- That the birthing process is much more about being in contact with your body instead of being in your head
Things I want you to know:
- three unique breathing techniques for a relaxed and confident child birth
- how you and your partner can increase the flow of the special “birth” hormones to help the birthing process
- how the Dutch birthcare system is set up, and how to navigate this system
- what choices and options you have during your pregnancy and during birth in The Netherlands

What will you learn?
- what you need in order to experience your own beautiful birth experience
- giving birth in The Netherlands, why we are unique
- three unique breathing techniques
- positions to use during labour and child birth
- the different phases of child birth
- the role of the (birth-) partner, what can he/she do to support you
- several massage and rebozo techniques for your birth partner so he/she can support you during child birth
- how to make a birth plan, and why it can help you
- alternatives, what if things do not go as planned during your pregnancy or during child birth
- kraamperiode, unique to The Netherlands. What to expect, what does the kraamzorg do, tips & tricks to prepare yourself when you are far away from family.
- and of course much more 🙂
Practical information
My advice is to book this workshop between 25 & 34 weeks of your pregnancy, so you can practice the breathing techniques and have all the information needed when it comes to discussing your birth plan (between 34/36 weeks) with your midwife/gynaecologist.
The Mini birth prep course takes 3,5 hours and I will come to your home. I will bring everything we need and also something to drink (tea) and some pregnancy proof (dutch) treats/snacks. So you and your partner don’t have to arrange anything, and will be taken care of during this time.
Investment: €185,- Incl. travel expense (within 40km radius, outside this radius I charge €0,19ct/km), digital handout, drinks & small treats/snacks.

About me:
Hi! My name is Lieke van de Put and I have lived in Someren since 2016 with my husband Marcel and my 3 daughters Lize Lotte (‘17) and Emily (‘19) and Yoanna (‘24). I have always lived and worked in an international environment and studied 2 years abroad, away from family and friends. So like you, I know what it is to live and work abroad.
Ever since finishing my study in International Business and Management in Germany I worked at international company’s in international environments. I love working and helping other people, and I have a special talent of getting people do what I want in a soft and kind way. Due to this I have worked as a Customer Service Specialist for almost 20 years on an international and multinational level. During these years I worked with customers such as KLM, Lufthanse, MTU, Nestle and Unilever (just to name a few).
After experiencing my own loving and beautiful births I felt the need to share and help other pregnant women on their own path to their Geboortegeluk (Birth Happiness). Especially because I myself have had three totally different birth experiences. I followed an extensive study to become a Birth Educator and with my own experiences both from a business perspective as well as on a personal level I am the right person to help you navigate your way in the (complicated) Dutch birthcare system.
